History
History of Anand Shala
The story of Anand Shala is rooted in the vision and dedication of its founders. Progressive Education Society, Khopoli, emerged from the 20 years of educational experience of its founders, Mr. P.S. Dandavate and the late Mr. B.G. Sakhare, who recognized the need for a well-managed English medium school that fosters self-reliance, positive thinking, and responsibility among students.
Our Beginnings
In 1993, Anand Shala started its journey in a modest 10′ x 12′ room, graciously provided free of charge by the late Mr. Surajmal Mohatta of Mohatta & Heckle, Khopoli. The school began with 6 students and 1 teacher, marking the beginning of a legacy that has grown over decades.
